We have been working on a new security system for our products which will help prevent the spread and sale of any counterfeit, non genuine Coiltek products.

This has many positive outcomes for distributors, dealers and our customers, to help reduce the possibility of counterfeit products flooding the market, which hurts us all.

The system uses a simple unique code (Certificate) that is given to a customer when they purchase a Genuine Coiltek coil. This code can then be checked to validate it is genuine.

By claiming the certificate, the customer also registers their warranty. This will assist us all in better handling warranty claims. All details recorded will be kept confidential and only used for their intended purpose.

How does it work?

What we do:
Simply, we send a IiG (Is It Genuine) certificate with each coil we manufacture. These are shipped with the product to you. They will look like the above label.

Where to go:
Visit the webpage www.isitgenuine.com.au and click the consumer tab. Then enter the code in the fields provided. (PLEASE ADD this link to your favourites to ensure a quick return to the site)

What you do:
Once you have your security certificate and have entered the details on the website, you will need to register as a user and fill out the form. This ensures your warranty is logged with our headquarters and informs you that you have a genuine product. You can then print the certificate and keep this with your receipt for warranty claims.

Some benefits of this system are:

1. Provide the customer with knowledge that the product they have is genuine
2. Provide a deterrent against counterfeit products as all Coiltek COILS, BATTERY SYSTEMS and BOOSTER products will now be shipped with IiG Security Certificate
3. Provide a history for the customer of purchases of a Coiltek product
4. Register a warranty with Coiltek and provide contact details for warranty purposes only.

This will be a worldwide warranty and will help us control the warranty of our products and ensure the customer knows what they have is the real thing.

NOTE: This system does assume that the user has access to the internet.

For a customer who does not have access to a computer you might need to get the dealer to register the certificate on your behalf, however you will need to let them establish you as a user. By doing this you will need to provide the dealer with a user name and password which you can later change when access to a PC is convenient. Your dealer will be able to help you with the registration when you contact them.

We are generating certificates for the following Coiltek Products:

• All coil types
• Regulated battery systems
• Mini boosters and Speaker systems.

We feel that it is a very easy system to use and ultimately provides the user knowledge that they have bought a genuine Coiltek Manufacturing product!
